To understand the calculation method of the LED display screen viewing distance, you first need to know the pixel pitch of the LED display. The pixel pitch of the LED display is the distance between each pixel point to each adjacent pixel point. The pixel pitch is usually expressed by P, in units of mm. P10 means the pixel pitch of led display is 10mm. In general, the calculation formula for calculating the best and farthest viewing distance of an LED display is as follows:

1. Minimum viewing distance (smooth image provided)

The minimum distance is calculated converting into meters the pixel pitch. For example, a led screen with 10mm pitch has a minimum viewing distance of 10 meters, while a 8mm pitch led screen has a minimum viewing distance of 8 meters.

The optimum distance is three times longer than minimum viewing distance.
