The led display fireproof raw materials mainly include the wire and power supply used inside the led display, the external protective structure fireproof material and the plastic kit.

In most led display applications, the larger the area of the led display, the greater the power consumption and the higher the stability requirements of the wire. Among the many wire products, the wire that meets the requirements of the national standard can guarantee safety and stability. There are three requirements: the core is a copper wire conductive carrier, the wire core cross-sectional area tolerance is within the standard range value, and the insulation and flame retardancy of the rubber core of the wrapped core meet the standard. Conventional aluminum-plastic composite panels aging faster with high temperature and rain and cold heat shock. In the relatively humid climate season, raindrops easily penetrate into the screen and cause short-circuit of electronic components.

An important part of the LED display fireproof raw material is the plastic kit. The plastic kit is the mask and bottom case of the LED module, and its raw material is PC+glass fiber material. PC+ glass fiber material not only has flame retardant function, but also can not be deformed under high and low temperature and long-term use, and will not become brittle and crack. Combined with the good sealing glue, it can effectively block the rainwater from the external environment from entering the inside and avoid the fire caused by short circuit.

The heat dissipation of the led display is also important for fire protection. When the led display is working, the exhaust fan and the air conditioner cool down the inside of the screen body. It is recommended to install 1P air conditioner every 8~10m2 to ensure that the temperature inside the screen maintains a normal temperature. Unreasonable configuration of the air conditioner or exhaust fan may cause uneven heat dissipation, which may cause safety hazards inside the screen due to temperature rise.

When many led display manufacturers test the protection level of the cabinet, they simply simulate the spray waterproof test of the external environment. The durability and strength of the waterproof effect are yet to be verified, so there is water seepage after the led display has been used for a period of time. In this case, this is an important reason why outdoor led displays are prone to fire or have a short service life. When dealing with thunderstorms, the lightning arrester installed in the screen is an essential component to avoid lightning strikes and damage the internal components of the screen. The lightning arrester can directly direct lightning into the ground without affecting the screen.
